On June 11th 2016, KACCAD has distributed 240 long lasting insecticide treated mosquito nets to new mothers, pregnant women and home bound elderly persons in Wakiso Sub County. The mosquito nets were procured using grant money donated by Johnny Thronsson. The distribution of the mosquito nets is part of the efforts being made by KACCAD to fight malaria among the vulnerable communities in the area.During the distribution, KACCAD staff were assisted by Abroaderview corps Alice Edinger, Keith Russell and Meagan Carter.
