Community Programs & Projects.
Our community-focused initiatives aim to create lasting impact by addressing critical needs in underserved areas. We provide off-grid solar power to rural clinics and homes, support orphans and vulnerable children with essential education, promote HIV/AIDS prevention and reproductive health services, and empower individuals with vocational skills for sustainable livelihoods.

We focus on providing education for orphans and vulnerable children, delivering clean energy to off-grid clinics and homes, supporting health initiatives such as HIV/AIDS prevention and reproductive health services, and empowering vulnerable individuals through vocational training and business skills development.
Safe Birth & Healthy Homes Project
This collaborative project, co-developed with Let There Be Light International and its primary sponsor, improves maternal and child health by encouraging attended births at health clinics.

​New mothers receive Pico solar lights as incentives, promoting safer deliveries and providing clean, sustainable lighting for their homes.
Lights for Learning Project
This project, co-developed with Let There Be Light International and its primary sponsor, in partnership with the Uganda Spelling Bee (Enjuba), provides solar lamps and books to children, enabling them to study safely at night.
The project was launched in September 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic when Uganda experienced the longest school lockdown in East Africa.
The M.O.D.E.S. Project
In partnership with Let There Be Light International, the MODES Project provides Pico solar lights to enhance safety, health, and affordability for vulnerable off-grid groups: Moms, Orphans, Disabled individuals, Homebound Elderly, and Students.
Community Health Clinic Electrification Project
This project codeveloped with Let There Be Light International, and its primary sponsor solar-electrifies off-grid rural health clinics, providing reliable lighting to improve healthcare delivery and ensure safe, well-lit environments for maternity wards and out patient facilities.
